UserJourney does not seek to identify individuals and does not engage in individual-level targeting or profiling. In most cases, UserJourney performs anonymisation at the SDK level, meaning that data is filtered and transformed within the third-party application or browser extension before it is transmitted to UserJourney's systems, so that information capable of identifying individuals is removed or minimised at the point of collection. In some cases, UserJourney may initially receive or process browsing and click stream data, ("Raw Data") originating from third-party applications, browser extensions, or other permitted sources. In both cases UserJourney recognises that certain web-browsing data may contain elements that could be considered personal data under applicable data-protection laws. For this reason, UserJourney applies additional filtering and processing measures to remove any personal data, including unique identifiers, before such data is transferred or used. Where applicable, data is also further aggregated.
UserJourney does not attempt to re-identify individuals or combine data with other datasets for identification purposes.
